Arsenal have been home to some of the best players football has ever seen.
The Gunners have always been among the biggest clubs in England, but Arsene Wenger made them a global brand throughout his 22 years at the club.
In that period, the legendary Frenchman signed several incredible players for the North Londoners, and one of them was Olivier Giroud.
The World Cup winner has now hailed one former Arsenal striker and even ranked him above Kylian Mbappe – Thierry Henry.

Olivier Giroud says Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was better than Kylian Mbappe
Henry is one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
The former France international joined Arsenal in the summer of 1999. He was mostly a winger before he arrived in England, but Wenger changed his role.
In what was a shock to Henry, his old manager made him play as a striker, and that altered the Gunners’ history in that period.
The striker spent eight years as a Gunner and went on to become the club’s highest-ever goalscorer. In 2007, after he made the decision to leave, Wenger sold him to Barcelona for £16 million.
Despite his departure, Henry is still adored by Arsenal fans, and former striker Giroud rates him very highly too.
In a video on Lille’s social channels, the 39-year-old was asked to blind-rank some big names, and he placed Mbappe in third.
Then, when Henry’s name was prompted to him, he ranked the legendary Arsenal striker in second – one place ahead of Mbappe.

Kylian Mbappe could’ve joined Arsenal, just like Thierry Henry
Mbappe has often been described as the new Henry.
The two players are both French, play in the same position and started their careers at Monaco in the Ligue 1. There were a lot of similarities.
That is why, before most people had even heard of Mbappe, Wenger tried to sign him for Arsenal.
“Well, I believe that we were on the case last year,” Wenger said about Mbappe in September 2017, as per Sky Sports.
“He was close to joining us, maybe closer last year than this year because the competition was a bit smaller than it is today.”
