Dyson has launched the Supersonic Travel, a compact and lightweight version of its flagship hair dryer designed specifically for frequent travellers. Built for convenience during gym sessions and short trips, it retains Dyson’s signature airflow and heat control performance despite its smaller size. The device is slimmer and more portable than the original Supersonic while still supporting compatible styling attachments, balancing performance with travel-friendly design.
In terms of pricing, Dyson has launched the Supersonic Travel hair dryer in select global markets at a price of $299.99 (around Rs. 28,000). However, the company has not yet announced pricing or availability details for India, stating that a launch timeline for the country will be revealed later.

The Supersonic Travel is designed to be significantly more portable, coming in at 32 percent smaller and 25 percent lighter than the original Supersonic model, with a weight of about 330 grams. Despite its compact size, Dyson claims it delivers the same high-performance drying experience as its full-sized counterparts, making it ideal for travel and on-the-go use.
In terms of performance, the device offers three heat settings and two speed modes, along with an airflow of 11.6 litres per second. It supports a 100–240V range, enabling global voltage compatibility so users can operate it seamlessly across different countries without manual adjustments.
The hair dryer also features Dyson’s intelligent heat control technology, which measures air temperature up to 100 times per second to prevent heat damage. Powered by a high-speed motor reaching up to 110,000rpm and supported by Air Multiplier technology, it ensures fast and focused airflow. Additional features include a styling concentrator attachment and compatibility with existing Dyson Supersonic and Supersonic Nural accessories.
