OnePlus has revealed key specifications of its upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 6 ahead of its May 7 launch in India. The smartphone will feature an AMOLED display, a massive 8,000mAh battery, and run on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16. Positioned in the sub-Rs 30,000 segment, the device will launch alongside the Nord CE 6 Lite, with the company confirming major details around its display, processor, battery, and software in advance.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 India Launch
OnePlus Nord CE 6 is set to debut in India on May 7 at 12 PM, arriving in three colour options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black. The launch event will also see the introduction of the Nord CE 6 Lite, expanding OnePlus’ mid-range lineup in the country.

The smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, focusing on smooth visuals and an enhanced viewing experience. It also brings major durability upgrades with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. Additionally, the device includes a dual-speaker setup with up to 300% volume boost.

Under the hood, the Nord CE 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with a dedicated Touch Reflex chip that enables a 3200Hz touch sampling rate for improved responsiveness. It is backed by a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging, positioning it as a strong contender for battery-focused users.
For photography, the phone will sport a 50MP primary camera with dual-axis OIS and a 32MP front camera with autofocus, both supporting 4K video recording. It will run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and include AI-powered features like AI Eraser and AI Unblur. While pricing is yet to be announced, it is expected to stay within the sub-₹30,000 segment despite potential increases due to rising component costs.
