Motorola’s Edge 70 lineup is growing again, and the next device waiting in the wings is the Edge 70 Fusion. After passing through Geekbench last week and having most of its specs spilled ahead of time, the phone now appears in a fresh batch of official-looking renders that leave little to the imagination.
The images show the Edge 70 Fusion in two Pantone-branded finishes: Country Air, a light, desaturated blue, and Silhouette, a deeper, muted shade. These won’t be the only options, as sources point to additional variants in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Orient Blue, and Pantone Sporting Green. Motorola seems to be pushing the textile aesthetic further this generation, with a rear panel said to be inspired by nylon and linen textures.
Design continuity with the Edge 70 series is strong, but the hardware bump is more substantial. The phone reportedly packs a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an impressive 5,200-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood, the Geekbench listing points to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, paired with 12GB RAM, while other configurations may include 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Camera hardware is expected to center around a 50MP Sony Lytia main sensor, joined by a 32MP selfie camera. Power shouldn’t be a problem, as the phone is tipped to house a 7,000 mAh battery with 68W wired charging—a notable leap from the 5,500 mAh unit in last year’s Edge 60 Fusion.

The Edge 70 Fusion is said to run Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola committing to at least three years of OS updates. The device also aims higher on durability, with anticipated IP68/IP69 ratings.
Internal testing confirms a CPU layout consistent with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4: one core at 2.71 GHz, three cores at 2.4 GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz. That aligns neatly with Motorola’s internal codename for the phone, “Avenger”, as reported by Evan Blass—although earlier whispers suggested a different chipset.
With renders circulating and certification benchmarks already in the wild, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion seems poised for an earlier-than-expected debut, continuing Motorola’s rapid-fire expansion of the Edge series.
