Apple has announced a new set of Pride-themed accessories for Apple Watch, as well as complementary wallpapers for iPhone and iPad, timed to coincide with Pride Month. The collection includes a woven Sport Loop band, a new watch face, and digital wallpapers, all designed around a shared visual theme of colour and movement.
The Pride Edition Sport Loop is woven from 11 colours of nylon yarn. Rather than presenting each colour in a clearly defined stripe, the weave blends one shade into the next, producing a layered, textured effect that shifts with the light. The band is available in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes.
Accompanying the band is a new watch face called Pride Luminance. It displays colours that shift dynamically and is offered in two layouts: a radial pattern, in which rays of colour extend outward from the centre and align with the hour markers, and a vertical arrangement that mirrors the linear striping of the woven band. Both layouts allow users to select from a wider set of colour options to personalise the display.
Wallpapers for iPhone and iPad are also part of the release, sharing the visual language of the band and watch face. Like the watch face, these wallpapers offer colour customisation options.
The Sport Loop is available to order through Apple’s website and the Apple Store app. It will reach physical Apple Store locations later this week and will also be stocked by Apple Authorised Resellers. The retail price in India is ₹4,500.
Apple has said it provides financial support to organisations that work with LGBTQ+ communities, though it has not named specific recipients in connection with this release.
