A day after treating the audience to the first teaser of Alpha, Alia Bhatt has now dropped a new glimpse of her upcoming YRF Spy thriller movie. On Thursday, the Bollywood actress took to her X handle and shared a new poster in which she was seen posing with her ‘Alpha gang’.
The poster featured Alia Bhatt in her rugged and intense avatar. She was seen standing alongside Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, all of whom will be playing key roles in Shiv Rawail’s directorial. Check it out here:
A Look At The Alpha Teaser
The teaser of Alpha was released on Wednesday morning. It opens with a young woman, played by Alia Bhatt, sharing a meal with Bobby Deol’s character. In the scene, Bobby wishes her on her 18th birthday before handing over a card containing a room number. He then tells her that the time has come to put her training into action. The sequence is followed by glimpses of intense action scenes, suggesting that Bobby’s character has spent years preparing her to become a deadly operative. The teaser establishes Alia’s character as a highly trained assassin and hints at a mentor-protégé relationship between the two characters.
Sharvari Missing From Alpha Teaser
Interestingly, Sharvari was missing from the Alpha teaser. The decision, however, appeared to be part of a carefully planned marketing strategy by YRF. The studio intends to introduce each major character individually as part of a phased promotional campaign. Rather than revealing all the key players at once, the makers are expected to gradually unveil the film’s principal characters and their backstories in the lead-up to release. Sharvari’s first look and character details are therefore likely to be reserved for a dedicated reveal, allowing the studio to build anticipation around every major player in the film.
