Xiaomi is expected to expand its T-series lineup with the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, with reports indicating a possible India debut in early March 2026. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is said to launch globally as a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Ultra, though the company has not officially confirmed these details.

The upcoming Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to bring several upgrades over the Xiaomi 15T Pro, which was introduced in September last year at a starting price of around ₹77,000 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Based on this pricing, the new model could be positioned at a higher price point, although official pricing remains undisclosed.

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset. One of its standout features could be a large 8,500mAh battery paired with 100W wired fast charging support. The device is also rumoured to focus heavily on multimedia and haptics, with an enhanced X-axis linear motor, dual symmetrical stereo speakers, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Reports further suggest that Xiaomi is strengthening its collaboration with audio brand BOSE. The 17T Pro may include a third BOSE-tuned speaker integrated into the rear camera module, in addition to the dual stereo speakers, aiming to enhance overall sound output.

For durability, the handset is tipped to feature IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance to dust and water. The reported IP69 certification would mark an improvement over previous T-series devices that featured IP68 protection.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has also surfaced in leaks as a performance-oriented flagship. It is expected to feature a high-performance chipset optimised for gaming and AI-driven tasks, although the exact processor has not been confirmed. The device is rumoured to pack a large battery designed for extended gaming sessions and heavy usage, supported by fast charging technology.

The 17 Pro Max is also said to include AI-powered system optimisations to improve battery efficiency, graphics performance and multitasking. Additionally, it may sport a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, targeting users seeking an immersive gaming and multimedia experience.

Xiaomi has yet to announce official launch dates or confirm specifications for either device. Until then, these details remain based on leaks and media reports.
