The supermodel and her Jiu-Jitsu instructor beau, who welcomed a baby son together in February, said “I do” during an intimate ceremony at their Surfside, Florida home on December 3—and according to sources, this “small, private non-event” was Bündchen’s dream wedding.
Speaking to People in a story published December 20, several insiders revealed that Bündchen and Valente’s low-key wedding ceremony—a contrast to her two different 2009 wedding celebrations with ex-husband Tom Brady in Santa Monica and Costa Rica—was by design.
“Gisele is tired of all of the attention on her private life, but [she and Valente] are both so happy being together, and being new parents it was what they wanted to do,” a source shared, adding, “They are best friends with a lot in common and are so excited about everything.”

The source revealed that Gisele spearheaded the private nuptials, explaining that she “just wants to do things her own way. And a small, private non-event was what she wanted.”
While the wedding news came as a surprise to some, another source shared that the former Victoria’s Secret angel was always planning to tie the knot again. “Gisele is happy and in love, and getting married was in her plans—the timing just had to be right. She didn’t want anything over the top or made public so they could enjoy the day, each other and the family.”

The first source also revealed that the Brazilian supermodel is currently living her best life, and the wedding to her “best friend” Valente is just the icing on the cake. “Her life is filled with her kids, her loving family and work, but it is more manageable,” the source said. “She is happy being married again, happy being a mom and happy in her environment. It is an enviable position.”

Brady—who shares kids Benjamin and Vivian with Bündchen—seemingly weighed in on the news that his ex wife of 13 years had remarried with a cryptic post on December 20. The former NFL star appeared to be in full football season mode as he shared a photo of himself wearing a tight black T-shirt and matching shorts while holding a football. “LFG,” he captioned the Instagram Story photo. In another image, he proudly rocked a “Forever Young” Hoodie, captioning the selfie, “Yuppppppp💯.”
