Geeky-Gadgets reports that Apple introduced iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate at WWDC 2026 on June 8 and published a device compatibility overview. Per multiple trade outlets including 9to5Mac and AppleInsider, the base iOS 27 update supports the iPhone 11 series and newer, including the iPhone SE (2nd generation) – the same hardware floor as iOS 26. However, Apple Intelligence features require at minimum an iPhone 15 Pro (A17 Pro chip, 8 GB RAM), per Apple’s official newsroom. 9to5Mac further reports that the most advanced Siri AI capabilities – relying on powerful on-device models – are gated to the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, iPad with M4 and later (12 GB RAM or more), and Mac with M3 and later (12 GB RAM or more). The phased rollout schedule runs: developer beta immediately post-keynote, public beta mid-to-late July 2026, and final release anticipated September 2026, according to Geeky-Gadgets.
