Matheus Cunha has been sorely missed by Manchester United and Ruben Amorim will have to do without him once again on Sunday at Selhurst Park.
Ahead of the Everton clash, Matheus Cunha suffered a head injury, which kept him out of the Monday night game, being a big miss for the Manchester United attack.
United were unable to replace Cunha, as Joshua Zirkzee struggled, and there were big hopes that he would make his return on Sunday against Crystal Palace.
But now, Ruben Amorim has ruled out Cunha, declaring that he will be back in contention to play against West Ham on Thursday.
Cunha has now sent fans a message.
Matheus Cunha shares injury update after Ruben Amorim rules him out
The team news on Friday wasn’t positive from Amorim, as he ruled out Cunha alongside Benjamin Sesko and Harry Maguire.
⚠️Injury latest ahead of Man Utd vs Palace
Following this, there was concern over Cunha and his head injury, but the Brazilian has taken to Instagram to send a message to supporters in typical Cunha fashion, with a joke.
“Thank you all for the messages, I haven’t gone crazy yet.
“Despite the joke. Thank you for your concern. Much Love.”

This is excellent news, and to see him on a bike proves that he won’t be out long and is keeping himself ready for when he is cleared.
How Manchester United’s attack should line-up against Crystal Palace
Against Everton, United’s attack was utterly hopeless and created virtually nothing from creativity, relying on sighters and crosses.
Who should start up front vs Crystal Palace? Get involved and leave a comment
So against Palace, something has to change, and Amorim should actually be making two swaps.
Chido Obi is the obvious solution to start up front if he is fit to play; if not, United need to swap out Zirkzee anyway, as he is a net negative starting as a nine.
This could be Bryan Mbeumo through the middle with Shea Lacey or Amad on the right and Mason Mount on the left.
One thing that’s certain, United cannot repeat the performance from Monday.
