Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni has been consistently linked with a move to United. Reports in Spain have claimed that the 26-year-old could leave Los Blancos this summer after four years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Aurelien Tchouameni meeting held
It has been reported that United have previously met with Aurelien Tchouameni’s representatives. The French international was involved in an altercation with Real Madrid teammate Federico Valverde before the end of last season, casting doubts over his future at the Spanish club.
However, Madrid Zone reports that United held talks with the player’s representatives before the incident with Valverde. It is claimed that the club wanted to gauge the 26-year-old’s situation.
Spanish publication AS reports that Real Madrid are open to making a major midfield sale as part of the team’s summer rebuild under new boss Jose Mourinho. Tchouameni is mentioned as one of the candidates to help Los Blancos recoup funds.
Meanwhile, Mourinho’s side are among the clubs interested in West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes, who is also on United’s radar. The Spanish giants have already agreed moves for full-backs Marc Cucurella and Denzel Dumfries, as well as swooping for free agents Ibrahima Konate and Bernardo Silva.
Martin Baturina bid tabled
Croatia midfielder Martin Baturina has been linked with a move to United. The 23-year-old clocked up 34 appearances for Serie A side Como before heading to the World Cup, where he scored Croatia’s first goal in a 4-2 defeat to England.
Sky Italia has reported that United are among the Premier League sides interested in the midfield. The club are said to face competition from Aston Villa, with Baturina also attracting attention from Leeds United and Bayern Munich in the past.
The report adds that an unnamed club tabled a £43m offer, which was rejected by Como. Baturina joined the Italian club from Dinamo Zagreb last year, registering eight goals and our assists from attacking midfield.
