Till a couple of days ago, Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan was in a miserable state with the entire film getting leaked online and Amazon Prime Video backing out of the OTT deal. Now the situation has changed entirely with Vijay’s TVK party creating history in TN Elections 2026.
Vijay is set to be the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and the delay indeed has become a blessing in disguise for the film. With a wonderful political victory, craze for Vijay is now at an all-time high, and hence the movie can now do wonders at the box office irrespective of its content. Now it remains to be seen if Jana Nayagan can go the extra mile and get that four digit figure which has been a long time dream for Kollywood.
If Jana Nayagan can achieve the Rs. 1000 crore landmark, Vijay will go down in the history books. Produced by KVN Productions, the film stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol in key roles. Anirudh composed the tunes. H. Vinoth directed this political action drama.
