Chelsea have struggled on a number of occasions with having their team news leaked way before a game, and this time the blame can be left with Marc Cucurella and his barber.
Liam Rosenior attempted a bold three-at-the-back system for the Blues’ trip to Brighton, however this saw them produce arguably their worst half of football this season.
Chelsea created just 0.04xg in the first half, less than they ever managed in a half of football under Enzo Maresca, and were lucky to only be 1-0 down at the break.
DEBATE: Who is the worst Chelsea manager of all-time? Is it Liam Rosenior?🤔
Marc Cucurella’s barber leaked Chelsea’s team before Brighton clash
They ended up losing 3-0, still struggling to create any genuine chances in front of goal in the absence of Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro.
The Brazilian was a predictable absence following his absence against Manchester United, however Palmer played 90 minutes at the weekend and had no obvious issue.

Journalist Dom Smith stated that Marc Cucurella’s barber was responsible for sharing that information before the club were hoping for it to happen.
He said: “Marc Cucurella’s barber was right when he accidentally shared the Chelsea team earlier today and then deleted it… No Palmer or Joao Pedro for Chelsea against Brighton.”
Chelsea had their team news leaked before both legs of the Champions League Round of 16 tie against PSG, and this is clearly an issue that the Blues do not need to deal with for big games.
Chelsea fans, if Liam Rosenior was sacked before the FA Cup semi-final, who would you want to see in charge?
Time is ticking for Liam Rosenior
There is a sense of the players losing faith in the manager, something the boss hinted may well be true after the loss last night.
Trevoh Chalobah took exception to Rosenior’s comments about the players’ efforts, and this level of disconnect is very difficult to come back from.
Many would love for the FA Cup semi-final to have a different man in charge, although this is looking unlikely based on the potential replacements being available.
Defeat against Leeds at Wembley would be the final straw for even the most positive of Chelsea fan, now that Champions League qualification seems out of the club’s reach.
