Enzo Fernandez was the star of the show in Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final win against Leeds United.

Fernandez grabbed the winning goal in the Blues’ 1-0 victory at Wembley and has received a lot of praise since then.

However, he was not the only Chelsea player who impressed in the FA Cup tie against Daniel Farke’s side.

Chelsea fans want Tosin Adarabioyo to stay at club after performance against Leeds

As well as Fernandez, Tosin Adarabioyo also put in a very good performance. Adarabioyo came in for Jorrel Hato, which surprised many after the form that the 20-year-old has been in.

However, it proved to be the correct decision in the end, with Adarabioyo putting in a terrific display.

He was so reliable on the afternoon that some Chelsea fans are now urging the club to keep hold of him. The last time the central defender started against Leeds, supporters wanted him out of Stamford Bridge after he made a howler at the back.

Chelsea fans on TalkingPoints have made it clear that they want Adarabioyo to stay, though, following Sunday’s performance.

One Chelsea supporter said: “I would like to keep him at the club. Tosin brings lots to the team.”

Another said: “A player who doesn’t mind being a squad player is a good thing. It’s players like him we need.” One other TalkingPoints user posted: “He really deserves to be kept at the Bridge.”

After a good debut campaign at Chelsea, it has been a difficult season for Adarabioyo, who has only made seven starts in the Premier League.

Under Calum McFarlane, though, he has a chance to finish the campaign strongly, with the interim boss clearly trusting the former Fulham man after starting him in an FA Cup semi-final.

It would not be a complete shock if Adarabioyo dropped back down to the bench for Chelsea’s next game, which is against Nottingham Forest. Again, Hato has been excellent lately and did not deserve to miss out on the FA Cup semi-final.

But Adarabioyo definitely did do enough to keep his spot in the team for at least another match.
