Beckhams ‘confused, concerned’ by Brooklyn’s controversial ad

David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly been left reeling over Brooklyn Beckham’s latest “aggressive” move toward them amid their very public family feud.

Brooklyn referenced his “complicated” relationship with his parents and siblings in an advert for food delivery firm DoorDash shared on his Instagram this week that has reportedly left his family fuming.

Following the release of the advert, an insider close to the Beckhams claimed that Brooklyn’s parents have been left “confused and concerned” over their son’s latest act.

“There is a shadow hanging over the entire family,” said a source told Daily Mail. “Nothing is the same but after this they are confused and concerned. And very, very sad”.

The insider went on to suggest that Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola, may be the mastermind behind Brooklyn’s decision to take part in the advertisement.

They said Nicola and Brooklyn normally share each other’s content on their respective social media accounts, but that this wasn’t the case this time.

“It makes you wonder if she’s the puppeteer,” they said.

“You can see it – she’s the one pulling the strings, enjoying it, having a giggle that this advert will mean Brooklyn will end up being even more cut off from his family than he was before.

“Why say you’re estranged from your parents and then come out with something so aggressive against them?”

Brooklyn has previously defended his wife against similar rumours, writing in his lengthy social media statement back in Janurary: “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.”

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.”

The insider added that there would be zero danger of Brooklyn being forced into an awkward encounter with his family if he did attend any World Cup games.

“They’re pretty big places,” said a source. “There are tens of thousands of fans at these stadiums, he doesn’t have to see his dad. It’s all pathetic”.

Meanwhile, it comes after Brooklyn’s sister, Harper, was spotted paying a visit to her brother’s home over the weekend.

The 14-year-old was in Los Angeles to celebrate her dad’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Friday, and shortly after the event, she was seen arriving at her estranged sibling’s nearby home in an SUV.

However, she was seen leaving moments later after realising that Brooklyn wasn’t home.
