On social media, Cross wrote:

Goodbye and Thank you WWE I’m really excited for whatever my next chapter will hold.

Thank you all for the continued love and support.

Special thank you to Robbie Brookside and William Regal for helping this dream come true.

Thank you to the wrestlers, coaches, producers and all the backstage crew who make all this possible.

To the amazing girls in locker room ❤️

In regards to the nature of the departures, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful specifically stated Cross had been released. UPDATE: In response to Zoey Stark emerging as released, Sapp noted: “We should say ‘departure’ as we’re not sure if these are releases or expirations.”

Nikki Cross had been with WWE for 10 years, joining NXT in 2016. She was most notably a member of SAnitY, as well as a three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion (twice with Alexa Bliss, once with Rhea Ripley), as well as the 2021 women’s Money in the Bank winner and a Raw Women’s Champion.

Alba Fyre signed with WWE as a member of the NXT UK roster in 2019, reigning as NXT UK Women’s Champion for 649 days under the name Kay Lee Ray, as well as going on to be an NXT and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Isla Dawn.

Zoey Stark held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with IYO SKY (then IO Shirai), having joined WWE at the start of 2021. She hasn’t had a match since May 2025 due to injury.

Joe Gacy recently reigned as WWE Tag Team Champion alongside fellow Wyatt Sicks member Dexter Lumis. He signed with WWE in 2020.

Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy was in his second run with WWE, first from 2008 to 2021, then from 2022 to 2026. He held the NXT Championship and Raw Tag Team Championship alongside Curtis Axel with both title reigns coming in his first tenure.

Andre Chase joined NXT in 2021 and remained on the brand until announcing his WWE departure today. He was a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, once with Duke Hudson and once with Ridge Holland.

We wish all those released/exiting WWE the very best for whatever their futures hold. Sources: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful & PWInsider.
