Tomorrow, the fifth major Final Fantasy XIV update to follow the Dawntrail expansion has arrived. Trail to the Heavens will see the main scenario continue including a trip to the Clyteum expert dungeon and a trial versus Enuo called Hell on Rails. The third and final chapter of the Final Fantasy XI collaboration will add a new alliance raid in Windurst The Third Walk.

• The drop rate for Wings of Death (The Minstrel’s Ballad: Necron’s Embrace) and Wings of Mist (Hell on Rails – Extreme) have been increased. • Weekly restrictions on rewards in Arcadion: Heavyweight Divison have been removed save for the Heavy Holoblade (AAC Heavyweight M4). • The number of Heavy Holoblades needed to get a Universal Tomestone has been reduced from 7 to 4. • Cracked Novaclusters no longer drop from clearing San d’Oria: The Second Walk. • Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) can now be challenged with an Unrestricted Party. Completing the duty with minimum item level will now guarantee that each party coffer’s contain the drops: Shroud of Darkness, Dais of Darkness, Wisp of Darkness, and Modern Aesthetics – A Half Times Two. • Thundersteeped Twine and Thundersteeping Glaze, upgrade items for mnemonics tomestone gear, can now be purchased from Ryubool Ja (Tuliyollal) and Uah’shepya (Solution Nine) |

Hell on Rails (Extreme) has been moved to the Duty Finder. • Hell on Rails and Hell on Rails (Extreme) now bestow Echo if the party wipes. • Echo has been strengthened for AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage) duties. • Duty Roulette: Expert now contains Mistwake and The Clyteum and the item level required to register is now 750. • Duty Roulette: Level Cap Dungeons now contains The Meso Terminal and the required item level to register is now 720. • Duty Roulette: Trials now contains The Unmaking. • Duty Roulette: Mentor now contains The Clyteum, Windurst: The Third Walk and The Unmaking. Occult Crescent • Various adjustments have been made to phantom jobs in The Occult Crescent and various soul shards and notes will drop at a higher rate. The conditions for determining the HP of enemies that appear in FATEs have also been adjusted as well as knowledge points, phantom EXP and silver pieces gained. | PvP | • New items are available to exchange for Trophy Crystals and Commendation Crystals. • Series 10 ends and Series 11 begins. • Season 19 ends and Season 20 begins. • The rotation of Crystalline Conflict maps has been changed with the addition of the new map Archeia Harmonias. The frequency they now rotate has been reduced to 60 minutes. • Frontlines maps will note rotate in a different order. Rating will no longer decrease when a player is incapacitated and raiting gained from KOs and Assists is now affected by Battle High. |
