Jake Hall, the British reality star and ex-fiancé of Ladies of London star Misse Beqiri, has died, per People. According to local outlets, he was found dead with head injuries at a villa in Majorca early Wednesday. Hall is survived by his 8-year-old daughter, River, whom he shared with Beqiri.
In a statement shared with People, a representative for Beqiri called Hall’s death a “devastating loss.” “At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this,” the statement went on. “The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
The circumstances surrounding Hall’s death are still unclear. According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, Hall was sharing the villa with a group of people he’d been traveling with, and he went out the night before he was found. The incident reportedly took place around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, when Hall was discovered with shards of glass in his chest, per local outlet Ultima Hora. Spanish authorities, who described the incident as an “accidental death,” told the Daily Bulletin that Hall likely died after throwing himself against a glass window. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Hall rose to fame in 2015, when he appeared on the British reality series The Only Way Is Essex. He and Beqiri, a Swedish model, started dating the following year while she was appearing on The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The couple welcomed River in November 2017 and got engaged in 2018. They broke up in 2021 after more than five years together and continued to co-parent their daughter. In his final Instagram post Tuesday, Hall shared a video of himself and his daughter in the sunshine, captioning it with “I’m gonna try to remember the good things — ✨⚡️ looking through things — I’m just making art — in many forms.”
