vivo has officially begun teasing its next-generation foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold6. Senior vivo executives have started revealing key details about the device on Weibo, offering an early look at what to expect.
Meanwhile, real-world images of the vivo X Fold6 have surfaced online after the device was allegedly spotted in the wild.
According to vivo, the foldable will debut with the new OriginOS 6 Fold, which will include an upgraded Atomic Workbench designed to improve multitasking and productivity. The software will also offer an enhanced AI assistant along with a suite of new AI-powered features.

A vivo executive further revealed that OriginOS 6 Fold will support running multiple apps and AI experiences simultaneously.
The teaser image also offers a closer look at the vivo X Fold6’s inner display. Compared to last year’s vivo X Fold5, the screen appears to feature more rounded corners and a wider aspect ratio.

Separately, a tipster has shared real-world images of the device. The vivo X Fold6 is seen in a green colourway and appears to retain a design language largely similar to that of its predecessor.
As per recent rumors, the vivo X Fold6 could come with an 8-inch inner screen, a 6.51-inch outer display, a Dimensity 9500 chipset, and a 6,900mAh battery. It is expected to go official in China later this month.
