The Mormon Wives universe is expanding. A Southern California iteration of the hit reality series is in the works at Hulu, this time focusing on a new crop of young mothers in Orange County, Calif.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will follow “a new group of dynamic young mothers” as they “collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” per Hulu. The spinoff series is set to debut later this year.
“While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo,” the show’s logline says. “Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”
Hulu’s announcement comes after the streamer said it would explore additional projects within the Mormon Wives world following the show’s massive success. The original iteration, simply titled The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, debuted in 2024 and racked up 729 million viewing minutes in its first full week.
The ‘Orange County’ cast includes podcaster Bobbi Althoff and MomTok star Mayci Neeley’s sister
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will feature some familiar faces as well as reality TV newcomers. The incoming cast includes:

Bobbi Althoff: The 28-year-old is the host of The Really Good Podcast, which debuted in 2023. Althoff’s awkward, unconventional interview style, often marked by intentionally long silences, catapulted her to internet fame. Althoff, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Cory Althoff, finalized her divorce in 2024.

Aspyn Ovard: A 30-year-old YouTuber and influencer known for sharing family-related content with her now ex-husband, Parker Ferris. She and Ferris share daughters, Cove, Lola and Elle. Ovard publicly came out as queer after her divorce and is now dating Bri Davis.

McCall DaPron: A 36-year-old mom influencer and former D1 tennis player. DaPron, who is also the older sister of MomTok star Mayci Neeley, shares four children with her husband, Alex DaPron.

Avery Woods: A 31-year-old influencer and former pediatric ICU nurse. Now focused on sharing lifestyle and motherhood-focused content, Woods hosts the podcast Cheers! with Avery Woods on Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network. Woods is married to David Woods, with whom she has two children. She’s also stepmom to Woods’s two children from a previous relationship.

Salomé Andrea: A 33-year-old lifestyle influencer who shares beauty, family and lifestyle content. Andrea shares twin daughters, Luca and Rue, with husband Aaron Brimhall, whom she married in 2012.

The ‘Mormon Wives’ aren’t all Mormon
Starring on a show called The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While some of the women on the Orange County season, like DaPron and Bontempo, are practicing Latter-day Saints, other women either have complicated relationships with the church or aren’t affiliated at all.
In a January 2024 episode of her podcast, Woods noted that she’s “never been a religious person,” while Andrea said she was never “a Utah Mormon.”
“I don’t like to come out and say, ‘I am not Mormon’ because I have my own relationship with God, so does Aaron,” Andrea said during a 2023 episode of Woods’s podcast. “We don’t go [to church], we drink, we have tattoos, we do things that ‘we shouldn’t’ in the church.
“I still feel like I don’t need to say, ‘I’m not Mormon’ because I have my own relationship with that,” Andrea continued, “and we do want our girls to grow up with some sort of religion and understanding of something bigger, so my mom takes them to church.”
Ovard, meanwhile, is from Utah and got baptized in the Church of Latter-day Saints but did not grow up as a member. During an episode of the Girlscamp podcast in March 2025, Ovard revealed that while her dad grew up in the church, her mom did not. Ovard was surrounded by the religion throughout her childhood and adolescence, though she doesn’t consider the church “a core piece” of her upbringing.
Rest assured, though: The cast’s affiliation with the church will likely be clarified during the season.
The women are celebrating their casting online
Following Hulu’s official announcement on Wednesday, the newly revealed cast members of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County celebrated their involvement in the show on social media. Cast members, including Andrea and Ovard, posted TikTok videos from the Hulu event.
Woods shared a carousel of Instagram photos with the caption, “secrets out 🤫 @hulu !!!” while Bontempo posted an Instagram reel with a heartfelt caption dedicated to her new costars.
“What an inspiring group of girls! This is a new adventure & journey that I’m going to take and I am ready!! 💪🏼 I think.. 🤣,” Bontempo wrote. “I am going to bring my vulnerability & true authentic self and even with all the ups and downs that will come with anything in life, I’m going keep my foundation strong and continue to spread love and positivity 🫶🏽 Excited for you all to see what we are working on and 🥂 to this new adventure 🥰 and so happy to be joining the @hulu family.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is still ongoing. Hulu confirmed to Deadline that production for the reality show’s fifth season is set to resume after a brief hiatus due to the fallout from domestic assault allegations involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
According to a new report from People, Paul “has the option to return” to the reality show, but for now, she is “focusing on her kids and mental health issues and recovery from an abusive relationship.” Paul was also slated to debut as the new lead of The Bachelorette earlier this year, but her season was scrapped due to the ongoing controversy.
