The discounts on Apple’s 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro keep getting better, and as we enter Amazon’s Cyber Monday 2025 sale, you can expect some massive price drops on your favorite machines, especially if you didn’t pick up anything during Black Friday. Fortunately, the online retailer has now slashed $250 off on Apple’s latest portable Mac, meaning that every single configuration, including the one that offers 24GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD, has received substantial price cuts, and now starts from $1,349.
The 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro design remains unchanged, but offers significant single-core, multi-core performance gains, improved SSD speeds, higher FPS in games, & more
On Amazon, both the Space Black and Silver versions of the base 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro are now available for $1,349, making both variants 16 percent off. However, if you plan to upgrade to a higher storage model that offers a 1TB SSD, the $250 off discount has only been applied to the Space Black color, with the Silver finish currently going for $200 off. To be honest, we don’t think you should worry too much about what color you want and focus more on maximizing your savings.
In either case, Apple’s Space Black paint job looks phenomenal, and to some, it might even be a tier above Silver. If you plan to take your multitasking abilities to the next level, which also includes gaming on an M5 MacBook Pro, then 16GB of unified RAM isn’t going to cut it. For these intensive tasks, you’re going to absolutely need the 24GB memory and 1TB SSD version, and fortunately for you, this configuration is also listed at $250 off and can be yours for $1,749.
Despite sporting a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, the M5 found in the latest portable Mac is just a hairline slower than the workstation-class M1 Ultra in Geekbench 6’s multi-core test, and it achieves this feat while consuming less power and sporting half the number of cores. Additionally, its SSD read and write speeds are significantly faster than the M4 MacBook Pro, making the M5 MacBook Pro speedier and more responsive if you want to get work done quickly.

As for gaming, the active cooling fan enables the M5 to operate at higher sustained performance, and while it gets hot under load, it can easily push up to 190 percent higher framerate in Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing enabled compared to the M4. With all of these improvements, it makes little sense to ignore the M5 MacBook Pro, especially at $250 off, and we need to warn you in advance that these discounts will likely disappear when Amazon’s Cyber Monday 2025 sale ends, so act fast now.
