Tech wrap: Redmi Turbo 5, itel A100 Pro, Honor X70 Pro Max among key launches
Redmi Turbo 5
Redmi has launched the Redmi Turbo 5 in India following its debut in China earlier this year. The smartphone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The device comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Available in Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue and Turbo White colour options, the Redmi Turbo 5 is priced from ₹37,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB model costs ₹40,999. Sales will begin on June 19 through Mi.com, Amazon India and select offline retail stores.
Itel A100 Pro
itel has launched a new 4GB RAM variant of the A100 Pro in India, expanding its budget smartphone lineup. Aimed at first-time smartphone buyers, the device features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, DTS-tuned audio and a Dynamic Bar interface. Powered by the Unisoc T7100 octa-core chipset, the smartphone comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and support for up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. The itel A100 Pro 4GB variant is priced at ₹10,999 and is available in Comet Orange, Cloud White and Black colour options.
OnePlus N Series
OnePlus has announced the launch of its new N Series smartphone lineup in India, expanding its presence in the mid-range smartphone segment. The company said the series is aimed at consumers in the ₹18,000-₹25,000 price bracket. The first device, the OnePlus N6, is set to debut on June 30. With the addition of the N Series, OnePlus India will now offer smartphones across three categories – Flagship, Nord and N Series.
Honor X70 Pro Max
Ahead of the launch of the X80 Pro Max next week, Honor has unveiled the new Honor X70 Pro Max in China. The smartphone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2640×1200 pixels and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits. The X70 Pro Max is offered in Bamboo Green, Phantom Purple, Phantom Night Black and Sunburst Gold colour options. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999 (around $295) for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the 8GB+512GB model is priced at CNY 2,399 (around $355).
Epson Ecotank Printers
Epson India has expanded its printer portfolio with the launch of 15 new EcoTank inkjet printers, priced between ₹13,999 and ₹24,999. The new range, which includes models from the entry-level L1350 to the flagship L5390, is designed to cater to home users, students, small businesses and corporate customers. The printers offer print speeds of up to 11 ipm in black and 6 ipm in colour, along with ink yields of up to 4,700 black pages and 7,500 colour pages. Epson has also introduced a user-replaceable Maintenance Box rated for 35,000 sheets. The L3360 and L5390 models feature a 1.44-inch colour LCD, while the L5390 additionally comes with an Automatic Document Feeder and Ethernet.
