Team news: Five changes made for Fulham test | Team news | News

Mikel Arteta has made five changes to his side for today’s Premier League game against Fulham, with Bukayo Saka handed a starting spot as captain.

The winger came off the bench during our 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday night, but he is in the starting XI as captain, with Martin Odegaard missing from the matchday squad.

Ebere Eze replaces our usual skipper, while Noni Madueke makes way for Bukayo.

Elsewhere, Riccardo Calafiori returns at left-back, with Piero Hincapie dropping to the bench,

Martin Zubimendi is also rested, with Myles Lewis-Skelly likely to operate in central midfield, while Leandro Trossard is preferred to Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing.

Fulham meanwhile have made two changes to the side that beat Aston Villa 1-0 last weekend, with matchwinner Ryan Sessegnon picking up an injury in that game and misses out.

His spot at left-back is taken by Antonee Robinson, while Harrison Reed is handed Sander Berge’s spot in midfield who is also absent.
