Tarek El Moussa’s Ex Christina Haack and Wife Heather Rae Reveal Their First Impressions of Each Other

Tarek El Moussa’s ex-wife, Christina Haack, and current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, are co-parents and best friends. However, despite their close relationship now, the Selling Sunset alum revealed “there was no introduction” when the pair first met.

Haack, who was married to Tarek from 2009 to 2018, shared her memory of the first time they crossed paths during a joint Get Ready With Me YouTube video.

“So basically I was seven or eight months pregnant with Hudson,” the 42-year-old Flip or Flop alum said of 6-year-old Hudson — whom she shares with ex Ant Anstead — during the May 14 video. “Tarek texted me that he was coming to get the kids and he did not tell me that Heather was coming over. It was like a random day. It’s super random.”

Haack and Tarek, 44, share daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10.

Haack continued, “And so I’m just like [a] really pregnant person looking like s**t. I probably would have at least put on this amount of makeup on to look presentable when I’m meeting you for the first time. He just like shows up with you there!”

Heather, 38, joked, “He’s like, ‘Here’s my new little toy.’”

The Netflix star had a different memory of the first time she met Tarek’s ex-wife, however.

“I remember Tarek and I were going to L.A. to go out to dinner,” she explained. “This is when I first thought I met you. We stopped by, and he probably didn’t tell you that I was even with him. I thought it was Brayden’s birthday or something and you had the kids and then we stopped by to say, ‘Hi.’ And I was in this really cute pink dress. I remember him being like, ‘Oh, let’s go and say, hi.’ And I was nervous to go meet you.”

She went on to say that she was “nervous” to meet Tarek’s kids.

“Any normal person is nervous to meet the guy you’re dating kids or the woman you’re dating kids,” she added. “I was definitely like, intimidated. And you asked me like, a few questions to break the ice.”

Heather and Tarek tied the knot in October 2021 and later welcomed son Tristan in January 2023.
