Tanea Brooks a.k.a. Rebel has shared the unfortunate news that she has been diagnosed with a terminal form of ALS.

Brooks, 47, has been battling significant health problems, including being diagnosed with primary pulmonary lymphoma last November and suffering from neurological problems affecting her speech and ability to talk.

Brooks has received the source of the neurological problems, stating in a video on Friday that she has been diagnosed with Terminal ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

The doctors have diagnosed me with Terminal ALS. There is not a lot of research behind ALS, as we don’t know how long I have, but it explains why I have trouble walking and talking, and all my functions will soon decline. Now, we can prepare for the future and what is to come, and I want to say ‘thank you’ to Tony Khan and AEW for supporting me on this medical journey. It has been a blessing that is unheard of. From the bottom of my heart, ‘thank you’ and thank you to all of your prayers. Please continue to pray for a peaceful journey and a peaceful passing. I love you.

We send our best wishes to Tanea Brooks as she takes on this diagnosis.
