Unlike previous years, Ingrid’s release for Street Fighter 6 last month did not include the big seasonal balance update, so things are being handled a bit different this time around.
Alongside Yasmine’s gameplay trailer debut, Capcom also confirmed when the Season 4 patch is coming to Street Fighter 6.
As many players suspected, the next balance update is indeed coming with Yasmine’s release on August 3.
Capcom notes in their Steam blog post that all characters will be adjusted though we’ll have to see how much things are actually changed up.
Interestingly, there is no mention made of system changes, and Capcom already said they aren’t planning to add more mechanics to Street Fighter 6 at this time.
The last roster-wide balance update came alongside Alex, so it appears we may receive notable adjustments twice a year now moving forward.
On top of that, the developers also confirmed Yasmine is going to have a playable demo at Evo 2026 in Capcom’s booth, so players will get to try her out more than a month before she launches.

We probably won’t get any sneak peeks at the wider balance changes, however, since these character demos have been limited to mirror matches of the new fighter for quite some time.
For those who want to know more about how she’s going to play, Capcom did share Yasmine’s movelist and mechanics details last night though we still don’t know precisely what her Bayani Mode boost does.
Evo 2026 is taking place next weekend from June 26–28 in Las Vegas, Nevada where more playable demos will be available including Magneto in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Universa in Invincible VS.
