IRFC | State-owned company said it has signed a loan agreement with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, GIFT City Branch, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, for raising an external commercial borrowing (ECB) of JPY (yen) equivalent $300 million. The agreement was executed on December 2, 2025, marking IRFC’s return to the ECB market after more than three years. The ECB facility has a tenure of five years and is benchmarked to the overnight TONAR (Tokyo overnight average rate).

Motilal Oswal Financial Services | The company said its Finance Committee has approved the issuance of up to 30,000 fully paid, secured, rated, redeemable, listed senior bonds in the form of non-convertible debentures with a face value of ₹1,00,000 each, aggregating up to ₹300 crore. The issuance will be executed on a private placement basis. The NCDs are proposed to be listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.

Canara Bank | State-owned bank said it has mobilised ₹3,500 crore through the issuance of 7.55% Basel III-compliant additional tier I bonds. The fundraise comprises a base size of ₹1,000 crore and a green shoe option of ₹2,500 crore, both fully subscribed. The unsecured, subordinated, listed, rated, non-convertible, perpetual and fully paid-up bonds carry a face value of ₹1 crore each. The issue opened and closed on November 28, 2025, with 3,500 bonds placed with 37 allottees. Allotment was completed today, December 2, 2025.

Bansal Wire Industries | Stainless steel wire manufacturer said it has received a show-cause notice (SCN) from the Joint Commissioner, SGST, Corporate Circle-I, Ghaziabad Zone-I, Uttar Pradesh, for goods & services tax, interest, and penalty for the financial year 2020-21. The total amount is ₹202.77 crore, comprising tax of ₹69.19 crore, interest of ₹64.39 crore, and penalty of ₹69.19 crore. The notice relates to issues involving e-way bills, availment of blocked and excess input tax credit (ITC), and non-payment of tax on the sale of RODTEP licences.

India Cements | The company said its subsidiaries — PT Coromandel Minerals Resources, Indonesia, and Raasi Minerals Pte Ltd, Singapore — have entered into a share sale and purchase agreement to divest their entire equity investment in PT Adcoal Energindo, Indonesia, for a proposed consideration of IDR 10 billion (approximately ₹5.4 crore). Once completed, PT Adcoal will cease to be a subsidiary, and PT Mitra Setia Tanah Bumbu, in which PT Adcoal holds a 49% stake, will also cease to be an associate company.

The EPC contract covers complete design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the floating PV system, alongside grid-connection works that include a 33 kV underground transmission line to the pooling station and 33/220 kV bays at the Kadana substation.

Hindustan Copper | State-owned firm said the company and NTPC Mining Ltd (NML) have executed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate across copper and critical minerals development. The agreement enables the two companies to jointly participate in copper and critical minerals block auctions and work together on exploration, mining and processing activities. Under the MoU, HCL and NML will assess opportunities for joint investments aimed at developing, mining and processing minerals from HCL’s existing asset base.
