Thousands of intimate messages and personal pictures belonging to a high-profile female celebrity have reportedly been leaked online. She was allegedly involved with a top sports star. According to reports, the woman, a British citizen, is a well-known personality and entrepreneur.

Reportedly, she was targeted by a stalker who used spyware to infiltrate her email and social media accounts. The cyberstalker allegedly stole close to 90,000 screenshots from her mobile phone.

According to reports, the cyberstalker stole close to 90,000 screenshots. The images and messages were leaked after the stored data was improperly stored, which allowed public access.

Jeremiah Fowler, an American cybersecurity expert and researcher, stated that he discovered the exposed files online, where they remained accessible for at least two weeks.

Fowler, who has kept the woman’s identity private, claimed that she was involved in an affair with a well-known sportsman. He said the stolen data includes invoices, receipts, and private chats from platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok.

Speaking to The Sun, the cybersecurity expert revealed that both individuals were reportedly married and said such data could be extremely damaging.

Risk of Extortion and Privacy Breach

An American cybersecurity expert also stated that this kind of data leak can be used negatively. He also warned that this type of information could be used for extortion.

Fowler said, “This information about the affair never appeared in the media, but because the files were exposed for such a long period, it is highly possible that someone else accessed them and may release them later or attempt extortion.”

He added that he reported the issue to the police via email and notified the victim, although he is unsure whether she filed a formal complaint.

Under the UK’s Protection from Harassment Act 1997, individuals caught using stalkerware illegally could face prosecution.

Fowler also shared his findings in a blog post on the ExpressVPN website, emphasizing that such threats are not limited to high-profile individuals.

He explained that these tools are widely used in cybercrime, harassment, and stalking cases affecting ordinary users as well.

“My goal in publishing these findings is to raise awareness about the risks posed by stalkerware,” Fowler wrote.

“By showing real examples of what this type of software can capture, readers can better understand the seriousness of privacy violations, how to identify and protect themselves, and the potential harm it can cause,” he added.
