Vivo V70 series leaks: launch, price and models

The Vivo V70 series is tipped to launch in India in mid-February, targeting the premium mid-range segment. The lineup is expected to include the Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite, and a Vivo V70 FE variant, all yet to be officially confirmed by Vivo.

Leaks suggest India pricing will stay under Rs. 55,000, positioning the phones against upper mid-range rivals from Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi. The Vivo V70 is said to come in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the V70 Elite may add Sand Beige and Black to the palette.

Vivo V70 series leaks: design, display and performance

Renders show the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite with a clean rear panel, a square camera island housing a triple camera setup and an LED flash, plus subtle Vivo branding at the bottom. Both models are tipped to share a 6.59‑inch Full‑HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a hole‑punch cutout on the Elite’s front.

Under the hood, leaks indicate a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip for the V70 Elite and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the standard V70, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage on at least some variants. The Vivo V70 FE is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 8GB RAM and Android 16, according to Geekbench listings.

Vivo V70 series leaks: Zeiss cameras, massive battery and durability

Camera hardware is shaping up to be a headline feature, with leaks pointing to a 50‑megapixel main rear sensor, an 8‑megapixel ultrawide, and a 50‑megapixel Zeiss‑tuned telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom on at least two models. A 50‑megapixel selfie camera is also tipped on some variants, keeping the focus on imaging.

The Vivo V70 (model V2538) has appeared on the EU Energy Label with a 6,320 mAh rated cell, expected to be marketed as a 6,500 mAh battery, promising up to 900 charge cycles before dropping to 80 percent capacity. It is also said to support 55W wired fast charging and carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, underlining Vivo’s push for ruggedness in the V70 series.

Vivo V70 series leaks: what it means for buyers

If these Vivo V70 series leaks hold, Indian buyers could see a rare mix of flagship‑class Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 performance, Zeiss‑branded triple cameras, and a huge 6,500mAh‑class battery in a sub‑Rs. 55,000 package. At the same time, the Dimensity‑powered Vivo V70 FE is likely to offer a more affordable entry point into the lineup without sacrificing modern 5G and Android 16 features.

For now, all Vivo V70 series details remain unofficial, but the consistency of certifications, energy labels, and tipster reports suggests that the broad contours of price, design, and core specs are largely in place. The real test will come at launch, when Vivo’s official pricing, camera tuning, and software polish show whether this leaked powerhouse can truly live up to its early buzz in India’s fiercely competitive market.
