The red carpet officially rolled out at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood for the 98th Academy Awards, kicking off the final stretch of Oscar pre-parties and events as Hollywood gears up for Sunday, March 15.

Chef Wolfgang Puck and Wolfgang Puck Catering returns, for its 32nd year, to create the menu for this year’s Governor’s Ball, where nominees, winners, and guests will be treated to a variety of tray-passed dishes, including a theatrical Oscar Gold Spraying Station where guests can enjoy dark, milk, matcha, and blond Dulcey chocolate pops. For a more decadent dessert, the “Oscars Special” offers a 50 bean vanilla gelato adorned with real gold leaves. Savory highlights include a classic, elegant Salmon en Croute featured at the Wagyu and steak frites carving station, and Mini Wagyu Cheeseburgers

Elton John’s 34th annual Academy Awards Viewing Party, benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation, returns on Sunday, March 14th. He’ll be joined by a star-studded lineup including Patricia Arquette, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, Brandi Carlile and Catherine Shepherd, Tiffany Haddish, Christina Hendricks, Tove Lo, Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter, Eric McCormack, Keke Palmer, Orville Peck, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Sharon Stone, and Donatella Versace, and a performance by Lola Young.

Events this week include A Champagne Tasting Reception to Celebrate the Season by Film Commission Bayern, Champagne Taittinger, Hotel Bayerischer Hof and DEADLINE; Diane von Furstenberg’s Pre-Oscars Lunch For Female Nominees; Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood; ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards; Oscar Wilde Awards; Warner Bros Studio party at Mother Wolf; Women in Film Academy Awards; Charles Finch Dinner; Netflix’s Academy Awards Nominee Celebration at Sunset Towers, and the Night Before the Oscars. Agencies. WME will host a bash, and CAA will host its annual pre-Oscar party on the evening of Friday, March 13, at Living Room in celebration of the agency’s nominated clients.

The stars will party-hop post-award Oscar ceremonies, from the Governors Ball, Vanity Fair Oscars Party, and NEON at Motherwolf to many more.
