Savannah Guthrie recently posted an update celebrating Father’s Day with her husband and children. Guthrie, who has been in the news for months after the kidnapping of her mother, recently shared a sweet and rare update about her family life as she paid tribute to Michael Feldman on Father’s Day.

Taking to her social media account on Father’s Day, Guthrie posted an adorable photo of her husband, Michael Feldman, lying in bed, cuddling up with their two kids: daughter Vale, who is 11, and youngest son Charley, who is 9.She captioned the story post with “Our Hero (heart emoji) Happy Father’s Day @feldmen.” The couple had met for the first time in 2008 at Feldman’s 40th birthday party. They started dating the next year, and officially got engaged in 2013. The two later on tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2014.

In May, on Mother’s Day, Feldman had shared a similar tribute post. He had written in the caption while sharing a photo of his wife, “To the strongest person I know. Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day. (heart emoji, heartbreak emoji, and heart emoji.” In the photo posted along with the caption, Guthrie was seen hugging her two children while kissing their son’s temple.

For around 4 months now, Savannah Guthrie’s mother has been missing from her home. Her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing since February 1, with investigations still underway as to what exactly happened to her.On June 8, as Savannah had transitioned back to being on air, she detailed how she and the family have been handling the entire situation. While joining the team on ‘Today with Jenna & Sheinelle’, she had stated, “Well, I’m working it out, step by step. There’s this famous scripture about you’ll soar on wings like eagles, but there’s a part of it which says, ‘You’ll walk and not grow faint’… there’s a time in life when just walking and not growing faint is about as good as it can get. And that’s what I feel like I’m doing. I’m trying to walk and not grow faint.”According to the latest reports, Guthrie’s mother is said to have been possibly abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona. As of right now, no suspects have been named in the case, and the investigation into the matter is still underway.
