After Salman Khan’s upcoming venture, tentatively titled ‘SVC63’ directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is said to be eyeing an Eid 2027 release, the latest reports suggest that the makers of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ starring Prabhas are considering pushing their announced release ahead.As per a report by Mid-Day, it is said that as the Salman Khan and Nayanthara starrer movie is locked to hit the screens during Eid 2027, which will come out in March, it does not make sense for ‘Spirit’ to be released during the same window.
No impact on shooting
At the same time, the ‘Kabir Singh’ director’s films rely heavily on sustained buzz and clean runs, the makers seem to be taking a calculated decision to push the film forward rather than any production delays. The change in release date will not slow down the shoot. The team is still working as planned. The goal is to finish the shoot by early 2027.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga to give attention to post-production
Furthermore, the ‘Animal’ director wants to keep enough time for the movie’s editing, background score and also, as it will be a pan-India release, he also wants to focus on proper dubbing in Hindi, Telugu and other languages. Early this year, the first look of ‘Spirit’ was shared by Sandeep Reddy Vanga himself. It showed Prabhas in a very intense look with a wounded back. Triptii Dimri plays the female lead and is seen lighting his cigarette calmly.The movie also includes Vivek Oberoi in key roles. It was announced to be released on March 5, however, it must be getting delayed.
