Earlier this year, Samsung recently unveiled its new Galaxy Book6 laptops, a series of high-end Windows computers designed with a balance of power and performance. With that in mind, the company more recently announced the launch of the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, a special model designed for corporate environments with a suite of management tools for IT deployments.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition focuses heavily on device lifecycle management. Andrew Chun, CVP & Head of B2B NPC Group at Samsung comments:
Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition marks an important step in expanding the Galaxy Book series into enterprise computing. We’re excited to bring the connected Galaxy experience to enterprise IT environments to help enable seamless workflows across devices and businesses.
The Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition supports features such as Windows Autopilot, custom OS imaging, and BIOS-level logo customization which allow organizations to deploy standardized systems that are ready for immediate use. As for security, the laptops are built with hardware-level protections including a discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM), biometric authentication via a built-in fingerprint sensor and an IR camera for Windows Hello, and integration with Samsung Knox.
Available in a sleek Mocha Gray finish with a 14.9 mm chassis, the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition comes in 14-inch and 16-inch models. Both versions feature WUXGA IPS displays and a backlit Pro Keyboard, though the 16-inch model includes a dedicated numeric keypad for data-heavy tasks.
As for performance, the series is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro technology and a dedicated NPU capable of up to 49 TOPS for AI functionality. According to Samsung, the laptop’s battery can last for up to 24 hours of video playback, and can recharge up to 30% in around 30 minutes.
