Samsung Galaxy S27 leaks mastersheet compilation
1) Design and display
The Samsung Galaxy S27 is expected to retain Samsung’s familiar flagship design language. However, several leaks suggest the company could introduce subtle refinements to make the device look more modern and premium.
According to a South Korean Naver blog, the Galaxy S27 may feature a redesigned rear camera layout instead of the individual camera ring design Samsung has used since the Galaxy S23 series. The same report also suggests Samsung is testing a more unified camera housing while still keeping the device’s minimalist appearance.
According to SamMobile, the standard Samsung Galaxy S27 could feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with ultra-thin bezels, HDR10+ support, curved corners, and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Peak brightness is rumored to exceed 2,600 nits, which could make outdoor visibility even better than previous Galaxy S models.

The same report further suggests the device will continue using an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung is also expected to pair the display with stronger glass protection and an Armor Aluminum frame while maintaining IP68 dust and water resistance.
A well-known tipster, Ice Universe on X, indicates Samsung may be exploring a refreshed rear camera design for the Galaxy S27 lineup, possibly moving toward a cleaner camera bar-inspired layout. However, current reports remain inconsistent, and the final design is still unclear.
According to reports from ZDNet Korea, the company is evaluating OLED panels from Chinese display maker BOE instead of relying entirely on Samsung Display. The move could reduce production costs, as BOE panels are said to be around $5 cheaper per unit. Current reports suggest the change would mainly affect the standard Galaxy S27, while higher-end models may continue using Samsung’s in-house displays.

2) Performance and chipset
Performance is shaping up to be one of the Samsung Galaxy S27’s biggest highlights. According to SamMobile, the standard Galaxy S27 is expected to be powered by Samsung’s next-generation Exynos 2700 chipset in most markets, while select regions such as the United States, China, and Canada could receive a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 variant instead. Both chips are reportedly built on an advanced 2nm manufacturing process.
Samsung is said to be developing the Exynos 2700 using its second-generation 2nm process technology. The same report suggests the chip could deliver significant gains in performance and thermal management compared to previous Exynos generations.
As mentioned by the Korean publication, Yonhap News, the company is also reportedly focusing on improved heat dissipation to address one of the biggest criticisms of earlier Exynos processors.

According to SamMobile in the previous report, the Samsung Galaxy S27 is expected to ship with at least 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage as standard. Leaks also point to faster memory and storage technologies, which could improve app loading times, multitasking, gaming performance, and AI processing.
Several benchmark leaks (1, 2) further suggest that the Exynos 2700 may feature a new-generation Xclipse GPU and upgraded neural processing capabilities. Samsung is reportedly aiming for stronger gaming performance, faster on-device AI features, and better overall efficiency, potentially making the Samsung Galaxy S27 one of the company’s most powerful base flagship smartphones to date.

3) Camera setup
The Samsung Galaxy S27 is expected to bring modest camera improvements rather than a complete overhaul. Current leaks suggest Samsung will continue focusing on image processing, AI-powered photography, and sensor refinements for the standard model.
According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S27 could retain a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10 MP telephoto camera with optical zoom.

The biggest improvements in the Samsung Galaxy S27 may come from software rather than hardware. According to the Samsung Mobile Press blog post. Samsung is developing enhanced Galaxy AI photography features, including improved scene recognition, faster image processing, better portrait segmentation, and more advanced zoom enhancement algorithms. These upgrades could help the Samsung Galaxy S27 deliver sharper photos and more consistent results across different lighting conditions.
While current leaks do not point to any dramatic camera hardware changes, Samsung appears to be focusing on refining the overall photography experience through software optimization and next-generation image processing technologies.

4) Battery and Charging
Battery life is expected to remain a key focus for the Galaxy S27, although current leaks have revealed very little about the standard model’s exact battery specifications. However, based on the previous brand history, Samsung may continue prioritizing efficiency improvements through its next-generation chipset and software optimizations rather than relying solely on a larger battery.
SamMobile also suggests Samsung is actively exploring new battery technologies and Qi2 magnetic wireless charging support for future Galaxy flagships. However, no reliable leak has yet confirmed whether the standard Samsung Galaxy S27 will adopt silicon-carbon battery technology or receive a significant battery capacity increase.
5) Samsung Galaxy S27 release date
According to the previous release cycle of the brand, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 in early 2027, likely during a Galaxy Unpacked event in January or February.
The company has followed a similar launch schedule for several generations, making a Q1 2027 release the most likely scenario. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed any launch timeline for the device yet.
