Sai Pallavi’s Talent Is Beyond Targeted ‘Hindi Trolls’

After a recent promotional event for Ek Din, actress Sai Pallavi faced online trolling for not speaking fluent Hindi. Some social media users questioned how she could take on big Hindi projects if she is not comfortable with the language yet. A few even dragged her upcoming role as Sita in Ramayana into the debate.

But this criticism misses the bigger picture.

Language has never been a barrier for actors. Performance is what truly matters. Indian cinema has always seen artists working across industries without knowing the local language perfectly. Many actresses from Bollywood have worked in Telugu films without speaking the language, yet delivered successful performances and gained strong fan bases. Acting is about expression, not fluency.

Judging Sai Pallavi’s talent based only on her Hindi speaking ability does not make sense. She has already proven her strength as a performer in multiple languages. Like anyone learning something new, fluency takes time. It is a gradual process, not something that happens overnight.

Meanwhile, there are also discussions around her co-star Junaid Khan, who is still trying to establish himself in the industry. Being the son of Aamir Khan has brought attention, but expectations remain high.

Sai Pallavi herself comes from Tamil Nadu and did not become fluent in Telugu instantly. She worked consistently to improve, and the same effort is likely to reflect in Hindi as well.
