Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked to sum up his feelings after the heartbreaking loss in the Champions League final, and he chose one word.
“Pain.”
Arteta said he was proud of his team at the end of a season when Arsenal had won the Premier League and lost in the final of the Champions League and English League Cup.
“What I said to the players and the staff is if I said one million times thank you, it’s not going to be enough,” he said.
Arteta praised PSG, saying: “They are, in my opinion, the best team in the world.”
