Priyadarshan does not want Bhoot Bangla to be a franchise, here’s why
The upcoming horror comedy Bhooth Bangla is gearing up for a theatrical release on April 10 and has already generated curiosity among fans. Directed by veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, the film features Akshay Kumar in the lead role alongside Tabu.
In a recent interview, Priyadarshan clarified that he has no plans to turn the film into a franchise, a culture that is rampant in today’s day and age.
According to the director, Bhooth Bangla has been designed as a standalone project with a complete story. He also revealed that the climax has been crafted in such a way that the narrative cannot be extended further.
