Although the Saturday Night Live alum has been working to remove his ink for the last several years, he debuted a new tattoo on the side of his face in honor of his and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt’s baby girl Scottie, who was born in December 2025.

During a recent appearance at CinemaCon in honor of his role in the upcoming film How to Rob a Bank, Pete’s subtle design was on full display. The small, black ink art is placed discreetly on the side of his face between his beard and his ear and reads “Scottie” in vertical format.

And Pete’s newest addition is perfect—considering how much he’s loved fatherhood so far.

“Dad life is f–king awesome,” Pete told People last month. “It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can’t stress enough how lucky I am.”

Indeed, in addition to the King of Staten Island star feeling lucky for his little family, he admitted he now understands the logic of doing literally anything for one’s kid.

“You have this overly protective like…if one paparazzi guy pops out I’m going to f–king beat the living s–t out of him,” he explained. “So that’s a weird gear because I’m not a fighter guy.”

The 32-year-old—who debuted his romance with Elsie in March 2025—joked that he feels “primal” about his daughter, adding, “It’s funny.”

Meanwhile, Pete getting a tattoo in honor of his baby girl is huge considering he’s currently going through what’s expected to be a 10-year process to getting his other ink removed.

“I used to be a drug addict and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up,” Pete told Variety last year of his formerly tattoo-covered body. “I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain.”

And while the process is worth it for his mental health, he admitted it has been tough.

“It’s pretty horrible,” he continued. “It’s like putting your arm on a grill and burning off a layer, and then you gotta do maintenance and let it heal properly.”

As he put it, “It sucks, I’m not gonna lie.”
