Pegula extends perfect record over Potapova to return to Rome quarterfinals
Jessica Pegula took the scenic route at times in her straight-sets win over Anastasia Potapova on Monday, but the result was the same as she advanced to the Rome quarterfinals for the second time in her career.

The World No. 5 crossed the finish line after 1 hour and 38 minutes, winning 7-6 (6), 6-2 to secure her spot in the last eight. The victory also extended her perfect record against Potapova at the WTA Tour Driven by Mercedes-Benz level to 6-0.
