OnePlus Nord CE 6 set to launch in India on May 7 : Key specs, design and features revealed
Ahead of the official unveiling, OnePlus has revealed most of the key specifications, design elements and features of the latest model. The device will be available in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black colour options and will go on sale via Amazon.
OnePlus Nord CE 6: Display and Design
The OnePlus Nord CE 6 is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to deliver an immersive viewing experience along with smoother scrolling and gaming.

Performance and Gaming Capabilities
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with Touch Reflex technology that enables a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. OnePlus claims the device can support up to 144 FPS gameplay, making it appealing for mobile gamers. To manage heat efficiently, the Nord CE 6 will include a large vapour chamber cooling system spanning over 33,000 mm.
Camera Upgrades
On the photography front, the Nord CE 6 will sport a 50MP primary rear camera with dual-axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and support for 4K Ultra HD video recording. For selfies, the device features a 32MP front camera with autofocus, marking a notable upgrade over the previous generation, OnePlus Nord CE 5, which offered a 16MP front camera.

Battery and Charging
One of the standout features is its massive 8,000mAh battery, supported by 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging. The company claims the device can last over 2.5 days on a single charge and retain up to 80% battery health even after six years of usage.
Software and AI Features
The smartphone will run on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, and will include AI-powered features such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, and AI Portrait Glow integrated into the gallery app.
Durability and Audio
In terms of durability, the Nord CE 6 comes with multiple IP ratings, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, along with MIL-STD-810H certification. For audio, the device will feature dual speakers with support for up to 300% Ultra Volume.
OnePlus Nord CE 6: Launch Details and Expected Price
The OnePlus Nord CE 6 will launch in India on May 7 at 12 PM IST. While official pricing is yet to be announced, it is expected to fall under the ₹30,000 segment, slightly above its predecessor’s starting price of ₹24,999.
Alongside the Nord CE 6, OnePlus will also introduce the Nord CE 6 Lite. The Lite variant is confirmed to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a 7,000mAh battery, and a 144Hz display. It is expected to offer up to two days of battery life and will be available in black and light green colours.
