Rumors of the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, a dedicated Ultra gaming smartphone, have circulated for a while, but most of the details, specs, and features remained largely unknown until recently. OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra officially teased: What you need to know
OnePlus’s official Weibo account in China has started teasing the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, which is positioned as the company’s ultimate gaming smartphone. Here are all the details OnePlus has revealed so far about its upcoming Ace 6 Ultra:
- Great build quality with a metallic frame.
- Flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset.
- A 165Hz display for gaming.
- 50MP main camera with a special Oppo Image Signal Processor (ISP) and algorithm.
- 8600mAh large glacier battery.
- 120W super flash charging speed.
- A large vapor chamber inside with a dedicated cooling fan.
- A cover with dedicated shoulder buttons for gaming.
According to OnePlus, the Ace 6 Ultra will feature a new Glacier Battery, which is designed to stay cooler under stress and generate less heat, even during intense gaming. OnePlus states that the cooler battery temperature will result in higher battery health, allowing it to last much longer than typical smartphone batteries.
The dedicated controller-based cover not only looks cooler but also features a chamber designed to fit OnePlus’s active cooling fan. However, the company did not mention whether this cover or the cooling fan will be bundled with the phone or sold separately as accessories. OnePlus will also launch a second 120W charger with dual ports as an optional accessory.
With specs such as the Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 165Hz display, and an 8600mAh Glacier Battery, you’ll be able to play games not only more smoothly but also for much longer sessions. OnePlus has scheduled the Ace 6 Ultra launch in China for April 28 at 19:00 CST.
However, a global launch is not expected yet. OnePlus will likely use a different name for the international version, as the Ace branding is typically reserved for Chinese-market variants.
