Real Madrid have announced the signing of French defender Ibrahima Konaté, who joins the club as a free agent on a four-year deal.
Real Madrid C. F. and Ibrahima Konaté have reached an agreement for him to become a Real Madrid player for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2030.

Konaté will bring some depth to the defensive line, although his performances with Liverpool during the last few years have not been encouraging. He will need to be more reliable if he truly wants to compete for relevant minutes during the 2026-27 season under José Mourinho.
