Obsession continues to perform well at the Indian box office, with Rs. 4 crore coming on its second Wednesday. It registered a 10 per cent drop from the discounted Tuesday. The dip from the previous Wednesday is around 15 per cent, which is a strong hold.
The horror thriller took its running cume to Rs. 54.25 crore gross in its 13 days of theatrical run, including paid previews. Starring Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette in the lead, the movie will close its two-week run with a gross of around Rs. 58 crore at the Indian box office.
Based on current trends, the movie is set for a good spike in the third weekend, with no significant release coming next weekend. The movie is looking to make a sum of Rs. 12-15 crore or so in its third weekend, which will take its take cume closer to the Rs. 75 crore mark. Obsession has a good potential to emerge as the No.1 Hollywood film of 2026 at the Indian box office, overtaking Michael and Project Hail Mary.
