Noughties sitcom star joins OnlyFans at 48

Former My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly is the latest Hollywood actress to join OnlyFans, explaining that she’s “evolving with the times.”

Pressly, 48, announced the move in a new interview with Variety published today. Pressly has worked in Hollywood since the mid-90s but is best known for playing Joy on the hit sitcom My Name Is Earl from 2005 to 2009, a role that won her an Emmy.

While Pressly still receives residuals for her work in the series – and more recently, earned $US75,000 an episode for her five-season stint on the sitcom Mom – it seems the financial success of other stars joining OnlyFans has proven too tempting.

Another noughties actress, American Pie and Scary Movie star Shannon Elizabeth, recently joined the adult content platform at the age of 52 – and made $US1.2 million in her first week.

Speaking to Variety, Pressly said that joining the platform would be “another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention. I’ve loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face to face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.”

Pressly recently made a surprise appearance on Shannon Elizabeth’s Instagram account, leading some fans to wonder if she was following in her footsteps and signing up for OnlyFans.

“So great seeing you after all these years, @jaimepressly. Always nice crossing paths again and sharing a moment like this,” wrote Elizabeth.

“Such a beautiful human, inside and out. Hope we get to do it again soon.”

The pair are just the latest in a long line of celebrities to turn to OnlyFans to supplement their income: Among them, pop star Lily Allen, who sold pictures of her feet on the platform.

“[My pedicurist said I] could make a lot of money selling foot content on OnlyFans, and I’m like, ‘Not no’,” Allen said.

The Sopranos actress Drea De Matteo said she had immediate success on the platform, claiming she was able to pay off her mortgage “in five minutes”.

“I kept putting more pictures up. I was like, holy s**t. In five minutes, I was able to pay back Compass Real Estate who kept the sale of my house,” she told the New York Post.

“I did it, but I didn’t want to do it,” she continued. “I got a lot of heat for doing it and it went f**king viral and people went nuts.”

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughter, Sami Sheen, courted controversy by starting her OnlyFans account as soon as she turned 18 – but was soon generating more income than her famous parents.
