In the Nifty 50, 19 stocks gainers while 29 declined and two closed unchanged. M&M emerged as the top gainer, surging 2.17 per cent. Adani Enterprises and Sun Pharma gained more than 1 per cent each. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Eicher Motors, HUL, Dr Reddy’s, Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries and SBI were the other major gainers. On the other hand, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Power Grid, Shriram Finance, Eternal, Eternal, Airtel, Infosys, Tata Consumer Products, Coal India, ONGC, Bajaj Finserv, BEL, Nestle India, Axis Bank and Trent were the top losers. Wipro and ITC finished unchanged.
