Garmin has officially teamed up with Pokemon Sleep to launch a set of new watch faces bearing some of the franchise’s most beloved creatures. Sleep and health monitoring are a primary feature of all premium smartwatches, and Garmin has launched two new apps that bring Pokemon Sleep’s cozy, sleep-themed monsters to your wrist.
The partnership with Garmin arrives just a few weeks after Pokemon’s 30th anniversary. Featuring iconic monsters like Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Snorlax, among others, these faces add a touch of nostalgia for both Pokemon fans and design enthusiasts alike.
Pokemon Sleep x Garmin brings Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Paldea starters to your wrist
Pokemon Sleep’s partnership with Garmin smartwatches is one that embeds Pokemon into your daily life, in a way. While not the most popular title under the franchise, Pokemon Sleep is a unique game that tracks your sleep using your phone’s features. It looks at your movement, and even listens in to your snoring sounds to progress through.
Garmin has launched two new apps, Pokemon Sleep: I Choose You and Pokemon Sleep: Snorlax & Friends, that uses the game’s features and embeds it with the watch’s Body Battery tracking (energy and sleep levels) to tailor a unique and fun experience.
For Pokemon Sleep: I Choose You, there are 48 different Pokemon that can appear on your Garmin smartwatch based on the time of the day and your Body Battery at a given point. At night, one of three preset sleep cycles will appear based on the sleep cycle of Pokemon itself! You can customize the watch faces from the Garmin Connect IQ app and select your favorite starter or Eeveelution here.
Pokemon Sleep: Snorlax & Friends, is a bit simpler, where during the day, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu appear on Greengrass Isle from the game. Once again, this is based on your Body Battery, and the night-time cycle changes randomly like the other app as well.
