Motorola Teams up with Bose for the New Moto Buds 2 Plus


If you’re after a decent pair of midrange wireless earbuds, then you might want to check out the new Motorola Moto Buds 2 Plus, which are the result of a team-up between Motorola and audio veteran brand Bose. Priced at around 150 bucks, Motorola promises a lot features with the new earbuds, but what can you expect?

Inside, the earbuds use a dual-driver system with 11mm drivers for a deeper bass sound, paired with Knowles balanced armatures for high-frequency precision. They also come with support for Hi-Res Audio with LHDC 5.0 and immersive Spatial Audio for a three-dimensional soundstage, all packed in a design which features IPX4 water resistance.

Motorola says that it has designed the moto buds 2 plus to act as a productivity powerhouse, with Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation that can instantly adapt to the environment, in addition to a six-microphone system with Environmental Noise Cancellation for clearer-sounding virtual calls and meetings. Users can also enhance call quality via the Moto Buds app by enabling CrystalTalk AI, which essentially strips away background roar in loud urban settings.

As for battery life, the Moto Buds 2 Plus come with up to nine hours of continuous playtime on a single charge and a total of 40 hours with the charging case. Other features include easy switching between different paired devices, wear detection for auto pause and resume, as well as Moto AI features such as notification summaries, transcriptions, and real-time translation.
