Morgan Riddle Posts Cryptic Photo After Breakup With Taylor Fritz

Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle have been considered a power couple in the tennis community for the past few years, but it appears it’s game, set, match for them.

Fritz and Riddle met on the dating app Raya in 2020. They were then heavily featured on the Netflix docuseries “Break Point.” That led to fans following Riddle for her behind-the-scenes content at marquee tournaments. Judging by the latest report though, we won’t be seeing her at the French Open next month.

There were rumblings earlier this month about Fritz and Riddle breaking up. On Friday, DeuxMoi reported that Riddle has moved to New York City. She may even have a new love interest.

“Taylor Fritz has officially broken things off with his long term GF, Morgan Riddle,” the message to DeuxMoi stated. “My BFF is seeing one of his physios and can confirm they broke up and she’s now officially moved to NYC with a finance man.”

On Saturday morning, People Magazine confirmed DeuxMoi’s report that Fritz and Riddle have called it quits.

Riddle addressed the rumors by posting a photo dump on Instagram along with the caption: “Is this thing on?”

Tennis fans noticed that Riddle is wearing a shirt that says “World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend” in one of her photos. It’s fair to assume that’s a nod to her split with Fritz.

Taylor Fritz is taking a break from the action.

Fritz has been sidelined since the Miami Open due to a knee injury. It’s pretty clear that ailment slowed him down during the hard court season.

“I’m still managing my knee. Some days it’s better than others, and I don’t know why exactly,” Fritz said, via Tennis.com. “In Dallas, for example, it felt amazing and it didn’t bother me at all the whole tournament. I felt like I was moving great. And then, in the lead-in to Indian Wells, it wasn’t. It felt like I almost regressed a little bit. Same thing happened in Australia, as well

Fritz has not yet commented on his breakup or return to the ATP Tour. We’ll see if he releases a statement in the coming days.
