It feels like we haven’t heard the name Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a while but just like clockwork, he is in the news for all the wrong reasons again.

Aubameyang was an integral part of the early stages of Mikel Arteta’s life at Arsenal and scored the winning goals to seal the FA Cup.

However, Arteta soon had enough of Aubameyang and swiftly moved him on from the club.

Since then, the Gabon international has wound up at Barcelona, Chelsea, the Saudi Pro League and now, in France with Marseille.

But as trouble never seems to be too far away from the striker, he’s now in hot water with the Ligue 1 outfit as well.

Reports from France are claiming that Aubameyang has been dropped from the Marseille squad completely after an appalling display of behaviour at the club’s training ground.

With the players ordered to sleep there due to recent poor results, Aubameyang is believed to have led around ten teammates on a merry dance to cause trouble overnight.

This is said to include the trashing of rooms on site, spraying the club rep with a fire extinguisher, and throwing a general party.

The extinguisher incident is said to have been the final straw and now bosses at the club have moved Aubameyang away from the first-team squad for now, meaning he is unavailable for selection.

Of course, this is not the first time we’ve heard of trouble from Aubameyang and misdemeanors.

At the time he left Arsenal, he was very much at the centre of what appeared to be a group of players at the club who were doing their own thing.

Mikel Arteta stood his ground at the time and rightfully so and with Aubameyang now in trouble again, he’s been proven right years later.

Ultimately, for a professional footballer who has earned millions from the game and who is now 36, Aubameyang should know better.

Whether this will be the final line he crosses in his career, remains to be seen.
