CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K
The Intel Core i7-14700K is a mid-range CPU, designed to handle CPU-intensive tasks with ease. It offers a combination of 20 cores and 28 threads, with the cores further divided into 8 Performance cores (responsible for demanding tasks) and 12 Efficient cores (responsible for light tasks). Aside from that, while it operates at a base frequency of 2.5 GHz, you can boost it up to 5.6 GHz for better performance in tasks like gaming, video editing, and more.
We reviewed the 14700K and found it to be a great choice for both gaming and productivity. However, it did run hot under load, which is why we recommend pairing it with one of the best coolers for the job. These will help keep the temps within the safe limits and prevent issues like overheating. Motherboard: ASUS Z790 Max Gaming
The ASUS Z790 Max is designed with gamers in mind. While it doesn’t offer any flashy elements like RGB, it boasts a sleek black and white theme, great for those who prefer a minimalistic look.
As far as its specifications are concerned, the board features a 14+1+1 power system, which will ensure the components get clean and stable power. Aside from that, it can support up to four DDR5 RAM sticks, but the max capacity shouldn’t exceed 192GB. There are also three M.2 slots, which can be used to connect SSDs to the system. But if you have a standard HDD or an older SSD, you can use one of the four SATA 6Gb/s ports. There are also plenty of connectivity options, including a 1G Ethernet port.
RAM: Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5
The bundle doesn’t disappoint when it comes to RAM as well, as you’ll get a 32GB DDR5 kit from Crucial.
